Taiwan Ministry of Education’s project on dispatching Chinese language teacher to Thailand 臺灣教育部薦送華語文教師赴泰國任教計畫 is responsible by National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) and Taiwan Education Center in Thailand (TEC).

Taiwan Ministry of Education is recognizing the quality of Taiwanese Chinese language teachers and looking beyond to  the importance of Chinese language teaching and studying in Thailand, therefore, The ministry has established a project to recruit Taiwanese Chinese language teacher in Taiwan and dispatch to the educational institutions in Thailand. Teachers in the project can support to all level of schools or institutions in Thailand, including primary schools, secondary schools, vocational institutes, and higher education levels. Due to Chinese language is widely used and very important nowadays so, this project also aims to promotes and strengthens the cooperation between educational institutions in Thailand and Taiwan in the future. Thus, educational institutions in Thailand that have plans or are interested in seeking native Chinese language foreign teachers to work in the institutions as a Chinese teacher could join our project. The remuneration and welfare for teachers should be in accordance with the standards and regulations of hiring foreign teachers in Thailand.

1. To support New Southbound policy of Taiwan government.
2. To support and recommend the quality of Chinese language studying in Thailand.
3. To support and expand bilateral cooperation of academic scholars and students.
4. To develop Chinese language skill for all kind of academic personnel in Thailand.

To ensure the most efficient teacher before dispatching to Thailand, the Ministry of Education has set up the requirement of applicant who can apply to this project;

 

• Basic Requirement:

1. 1. 1. Taiwanese Citizen (中華民國國籍)

• Professional requirement: (Applicant must meet at least one of the professional requirement)

1. 1. 1. Has an experience for more than 50 hours in teaching Chinese as a second language. (Related certificates must be provided)
      2. Has completed at least 20 credits of the related teaching and studying Chinese language courses.
      3. Has completed at least 100 hours of teaching Chinese language courses. (Related certificates must be provided)

• Educational Backgroud: 

1. 1. 1. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree or above in Chinese language field.
      2. If not graduated in Chinese language field, must hold the certification of training in teaching Chinese language from Ministry of Education or from the institutes that approved by Ministry of Education.
      3. And/Or has experiences in teaching Chinese language.
      4. And/Or has the ability of Thai or English for teaching.

** Note: All of successful candidates must join the pre-departure training courses provided by our project, about the knowledge and methodology of teaching Chinese, basic Thai language conversation, basic Thai culture, before going to work as a teacher in Thailand
