Program Name: INTENSE Program, Department of Applied Informatics, Fo Guang University

Enrollment Quota: 30 students
Enrollment System: Two Year Bachelor for INTENSE Program, admission of undergraduate students entering their third year or graduates from junior colleges, with bachelor’s degree awarded upon completion.

Features: The Department of Applied Informatics integrates applied information technology with a focus on humanities and social care.

The primary goal of this specialized program is to nurture advanced assistant engineers equipped with expertise in information systems, smart applications, and assembly/testing technology for production lines.

Requirements
● Rank within the top 50% of the class.
● Proficiency in Chinese language, with a minimum score of A2 (CEFR Level 2) or above in both listening and reading sections of the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL).

Scholarships
● Tuition Fees: The first year’s tuition is covered by government subsidy, with only miscellaneous fees being the responsibility of the student. Subsequent year’s tuition fees will be subsidized based on performance in the first year.
● Initial airfare to Taiwan.
Corporate subsidy: NTD 10,000 monthly living allowance during the academic term, with additional stipends provided for internships.

NotesGuaranteed employment upon graduation, with a requirement to work in Taiwan for two years following graduation.
