The PADI Tec Trimix course is the most advanced technical diver course PADI offers. You learn to use hypoxic Trimix (trimix you cant breathe at the surface) and plan dives well beyond the limits that most divers ever go. While like all technical diving this course is not for everyone, those adventurers out there that want to learn to dive, explore and discover new and interesting wrecks or reefs this course is the key to new adventures.
As with other PADI courses the Tec Trimix course follows PADI’s proven educational philosophy when used in conjunction with Tec Thailand experience and leadership will provide a full educational experience.
This course may be conducted in the tropical open water off Phuket’s coast or in one of Thailand’s inland diving sites.
To enroll in the Tec Trimix Diver course, you must:
- Have either a PADI Tec 50 diver or Tec 65 diver certification.
- Have a minimum of 150 logged dives.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a Medical Statement signed by a Doctor within the last 12 months.
During the Tec Trimix course you will plan and execute dives as deep as 90m. The planning methodology applies to all depths and there is no limit to the depths you will be able to dive.
However like with all diving your training will teach you to take time building experience and practising the skills taught as you extend your limits.
Please note that a assessment dive is required before training commences to ensure your current level of training and experience is acceptable to our instructor. While we always endeavour to certify our students we live by the mantra that training is purchased and certification is earned. If you don’t meet the standard you wont get certified.
