Tec 65 Trimix
Tec 65 Trimix divers use various blends of three gases oxygen, nitrogen and helium (Trimix) with decompression gases of enriched air Nitrox and oxygen to plan and execute dives to a maximum of 65 meters.
The course builds upon the fundamental skills of technical diving learned in during the PADI Tec Deep Diver program and trains divers in the planning, motor skills and emergency contingency procedures required for trimix diving.
The Tec 65 Trimix course is a sub course of the PADI Tec Trimix Diver course and is an ideal opportunity to start learning about normoxic trimix upon completion of your PADI Tec 50 course. Normoxic Trimix is a blend of trimix with 18 percent or more oxygen as bottom gas.
Trimix diving is not for everyone.Trimix courses are for the small number of divers who are looking for a greater challenge and willing to accept the risks, training & physical fitness requirements necessary to go to greater depths in persuit of their diving goals. The equipment and gasses used for trimix diving are expensive and many people these days swithc to rebreather training where the reduced gas costs can help justify the initial cost of a rebreather.
