Tec CCR (closed Circuit Rebreather) has been around for a long time but with the launch of PADI’s new Tec CCR Programs Tec 40 CCR, Tec 60 CCR & Tec 100 CCR the step from recreational diving to rebreather diving just got easier. Based on PADI’s proven training methodology supported by training manuals videos and instructor material the Tec CCR courses structured with the familiar build block system where basic skills are developed to higher levels in each course. PADI Tec CCR courses are unit specific and so far a number of top rebreather manufacturers have approved their units for use on the PADI courses. You can download the PADI Unit Register for more details of specific units.
Here at Tec Thailand training is conducted by experienced instructors and Instructor Trainers who are full time PADI professionals. Our rebreather training facility currently has 8 rebreathers of various makes and models and a full range of parts and service items. So with our experience with so many different units we are in the best position to advice you on the differences with different types of units and help you choose the right unit and right course. Although many of our Instructors are qualified to teach other agency courses we choose to teach PADI courses.
